EMIRITUS DIRECTOR

My family lived in Brookline in my early years. After College and a brief stint in the army reserve I lived in Manchester by the Sea, on the old family waterfront acres known as Coolidge Point. I was involved for many years in residential real estate in Boston. Beth and I married in 1972 and after a few years we moved to Gloucester and became active in some of the exciting projects that were happening in the community. When I wandered into the old Cape Ann Animal Aid on Main Street in Gloucester, it really hit me. Being a dog person myself I realized this was an unfit place to care for animals. After several meetings with Cindy Dunn I decided to join in and help. With an amazing group of people working together this new facility was created. I had to laugh when I was told there would be cat condos! I love that CAAA that is making the lives of cats and dogs better. When I visit CAAA I know I’m in a good place.
