Due to the continued heightened concern about COVID-19 and the need to social distance for the greater good of our collective communities, the Cape Ann Animal Aid Christopher Cutler Rich Animal Shelter is temporarily closed until further notice.
Please know the animals are being cared for as many volunteers and members of the public have opened up their homes to a foster pet or two or more.
Keep up with us on our 4 Paws Blog and on social media to stay up to date on shelter operations during COVID-19, including stories from our foster families and how you can help shelter pets - and your own pets - during the crisis.
This is only temporary and once the exposure risks have passed we will welcome back visitors with open arms, wagging tails, drooling tongues and loud purrs! We thank you for your support and understanding during these uncertain times.
Most of all remember that your pets depend on you, your good care and love at all times. Take a few minutes to spend time with them and appreciate that unconditional love!
Cape Ann Animal Aid is a non-profit, no kill organization dedicated to facilitating appropriate placement of adoptable animals and enhancing the lives of all companion animals by promoting respect and well-being through education and outreach.
