VOLUNTEER

Join us and make a difference for homeless animals!

VOLUNTEER PROGRAM GUIDELINES:

  • Volunteers looking to work in-shelter with dogs or cats should be able to commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per month for at least 6 months in-shelter. Shifts are either weekly or bi-weekly (alternate weeks).

  • Children must be at least 10 years old to volunteer. Children 10-15 must volunteer with a parent/guardian and BOTH parties must submit a volunteer application in order to proceed. Teens 16+ are able to volunteer on their own with parent/guardian permission.

  •  Submitting an application does not guarantee volunteer placement. If we have a shift that lines up with your availability, we will reach out within 1 week to schedule an orientation.

Volunteers not able to commit to a regular shift are welcome to sign up for drop-in volunteer opportunities, listed below.

Volunteer applications are currently on hold as we work through those on file. Check back after the new year!
