Please read our Foster Job Description, and please fill out a Foster Application if you are interested in joining our foster team. For ease of access to care, we are seeking fosters who live in Essex County.
After your application has been reviewed, you will be contacted about attending a virtual foster orientation.
The most common question I get as a foster is “aren’t you afraid you’ll get attached?”......my answer is “Well it wouldn’t be the worst thing if I find a soulmate, but I go into each foster knowing they are not mine I’m just helping them feel safe and getting to understand their individual personalities to help them get best matched with their furrever home.” Sure animals are adorable but when looking to adopt wouldn’t you want to know if they would be a great fit into your home? That’s my job - to best describe their personalities and needs to make their adoption into a safe loving home a success.
