Low Cost Spay/Neuter

Cape Ann Animal Aid's SpayMAMA Program

Controlling pet overpopulation is important to us. Through this program, Cape Ann Animal Aid will cover the cost of a spay surgery for cats and dogs that have recently given birth. The mother and her babies are fixed and the mother is returned to the owner while the puppies/kittens are adopted out through the shelter. We understand that each individual situation is unique. Please call 978-283-6055 x100 or email info@capeannanimalaid.org for more information.

"I want to thank everyone who helped me to get Rosy spayed. She is a very happy cat and we no longer have to deal with her ''being in heat''anymore. When my son brought me those 2 kittens, I wasn't expecting two of the opposite sex, which of course created problems when they were around 10 months old. Being on a fixed income didn't help the situation either, especially when I got the male neutered and was charged almost $400. She now has a completely changed personality. It's a wonderful program and I was glad that I read the article in the paper or I would've never known about it. I recommend this service to anyone who needs help as I did. I am very pleased with the results and I can't say enough about the professionalism given to me and my Rosy. Thank you again!"
