At Cape Ann Animal Aid, we believe that our role does not stop at providing shelter and food for homeless animals. It's important to consider the entire being - body and mind - when providing homeless animals with loving care. Donations to the Enrichment Fund help fuel these efforts, ensuring that the shelter animals receive more than enough physical and mental stimulation while waiting for their forever homes. All of our shelter animals receive Enrichment of some kind but please enjoy these few animal stories -- a wonderful sample of the larger picture!

Lady Jane
Lady Jane arrived in our care with a litter of puppies. After taking great care of them, Lady Jane needed some time and space to be her own dog. She loved the Agility Play Yard. It provided a space for her to release pent up energy and learn new tricks to wow her future adopters.

Possum
An easy way to make the cat adoption room buzz with excitement? Cat grass! Possum (far right) and all of his kitty friends loved sniffing and nibbling on fresh cat grass. These experiences enriched Possum's stay while in our care. Happy cats make great new additions to any family!
