Cape Ann Animal Aid is looking for a Receptionist to join our team! We are looking for someone who enjoys working with both people and animals.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Welcoming guests to the shelter with warmth and enthusiasm
- Working compassionately with guests in a variety of emotional states, addressing their questions regarding animal related inquiries and concerns
- Accepting donations and general inquiries in person, via telephone and through email exchanges
- Assisting with data entry, statistical tracking and other administrative duties for organizational health and advancement
- Performing other duties as requested by Management
- High school graduate or equivalency
- Have good customer service skills, conflict resolution skills, and ability to deal politely and professionally with variety of people
- Job duties require physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, doing lots of bending and moderate work, with the ability to lift 50lbs
- Must be proficient with computers and programs (Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel) and have eager willingness to learn new programs related to data management in order to maintain and print forms and booklets, maintain data records, send/receive emails, and maintain web-based calendars
