24 hours...no family, no cell phone, no comforts of home. An exercise in living life as a shelter animal to raise adoption awareness and improve shelter enrichment programs.
The 2018 Night Without A Family event took place Friday, March 9th through Saturday, March 10th and raised just over $10,000 for Cape Ann Animal Aid's Enrichment Fund. Watch the recap video!
This activity gave me a chance to really see things from the perspective of the animals. We went for walks, played games outside, and got to socialize with each other. At the same time, I got to see how it felt to have visitors walking by my ‘cage’ and imagined how waiting for adoption must feel to the animals."
