It can be lonely in quarantine, and our shelter animals would love to hear from you!
Fill out the form below to become a shelter pen pal. Receive a letter (or email) from a shelter pal at 4 Paws Lane, and you can send your own letters and drawings in return! The 4 Paws Pen Pal Program aims to engage children in the adoption process by corresponding with shelter animals and learning about their experience in the shelter or in foster. You will receive a letter and photos of your 4 Paws Pal and learn where they came to CAAA from, what they hope for in a future home, and once adopted, an update on their happy tails*! This program is open to families and children of all ages.
Once your 4 Paws Pen Pal is adopted, you can sign up to write to a brand new one! Simply click "assign me a new pal" below and enter your email address, and you'll get a letter from a new pal shortly!
*We cannot guarantee your pen pal won't be adopted before your response letter arrives, but if it does, we will share your note with their future adopters. The number of letters you may receive from an animal will depend on how quickly they are adopted, and if we get an update from their adopter.
